4th Annual Big Rock Classic Car and Cycle Show - June 2, 2012

We are looking forward to an even more amazing event for 2012! Our website will be updated with more information in the December timeframe. Make sure to contact me with your suggestions and ideas!

Thank you all for making the 2011 event a successful and great car show! We had another beautiful day for the 2011 Big Rock Classic Car & Cycle Show. With close to 230 beautiful cars and cycles- the show has once again reached a new height of success. The cars and cycles on display were nothing short of amazing. It is always a personal joy of mine to see all our old friends roll in with their beautiful classics- new and old. To see the personal pride that everyone shares amongst themselves for their individual passions is what drives me every year to make the show better and better.
You can see the list of the 2011 winners here.

For Prostate Cancer Fundraising we cleared close to $6000 for the day - thanks to all of you, our sponsors, vendors and all our visitors from the Snoqualmie Valley. As a team we were once again Safeway Seattle Division's largest single day fundraiser for PCA. For the month- our store came in 2nd in total fundraising for the Seattle Division. For all the Safeways in Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska... that is quite a feat- almost 200 stores! We could never do this without all your support. Thank you. Thank you very, very much.

With brief break after the show and a big deep breath- we can now slowly look to next year to see how we can improve upon 'our' show. Your opinions matter... without them I would never be able to put this event together. Please let me know what you think and how you believe we can make the show a better event for everyone. We have some great advice already on some logistics improvements (ie SaniCans next year) and motorcycle trophies. Judging always comes into play- but it is important to remember that the show is about everyone's individual prides so we continue to try and find ways to recognize everyone's efforts- from high school kid tearing up their knuckles under their 'baby' to the professional custom fab guy with 40 years of experience.

For the town of Duvall and the Snoqualmie Valley I believe the show was a huge success and very much appreciated. Small towns are built on the individual events that give it the character and charm that make them so special. For all the kids who got to stand next to an actual military tank, Ferrari, Indy car or an original 'Lightening McQueen'... you know that we gave them memories that they will carry on forever. For the rest of us 'of a certain age' the ability to look at a car that our grandfathers drove is a great way to remember our past. Again... to all of YOU, our sponsors and vendors - Thank you.

This is 'OUR' show... so please call me anytime to discuss what you would like to highlight or improve upon.
